Like, if a leopard gecko is not hungry anymore will it stop eating? And how do I know that both of the geckos are eating the same amount and one isn't eating all of them? And instead of giving many small roaches, would a few big ones work too?

They will generally stop eating when they're full but some keep going, then they throw up and then they learn. Two different geckos may not need to eat the same amount but the idea is to make sure that each gets what it wants/needs. Some people keep all their geckos separately to make sure of this but I feel that if you watch your geckos carefully when they're eating to see that one isn't chasing the other or hogging the food you can check this out. Some people think it's better to feed multiple small items and some think a few big ones are best. See what your geckos prefer.

I agree with Aliza. Every gecko eats different. My oldest male will only eat one sub-adult dubia roach every two days, while my younger one eats about 3 every other day. And my female fat tail will just eat & eat & eat until she explodes, so I just giver her a couple every day.
