Well I just got back from my vacation and I wasn't able to find any herps, but I did come up with a bunch of other nature shots with a 400mm lens I rented. Let me know what you think...

I used a Canon 20D with a (rented) 400mm f/5.6L, my 70-300mm IS f/4-5.6, Tamron 28-75 XR Di. Lots of memory cards and about 2000 photos later...

I agree the 3 months of warm weather we have here (hehe) it's beautiful! I love the perched eagles and the frst pic of the loon Beaaautiful.

Spectacular! Those are some really great pictures! Very Inpressive! Love the Bald Eagles and the Hawk (Or is it a Falcon?)!
