I was going to post it when it happened, but I decided not to. last week or more like 10 days ago I lost one of our hatchlings. I was so made at my self. I had even just said to my wife half way joking. not three days before. hay isn't it nice we haven't lost any baby geckos this year. last year we lost a few baby cave geckos, do to some experiments with some not so good containers to use for baby geckos. she was a older one about 2 months old. I modified our economy rack to acomidate hatchling containers but the middle container can slide all the way back and come out the other side and I knew this but was just making sire the container was not set too fair back , instead of what I should have originally done putting a center back slide ketch (which I know have).
I looked all over couldn't find her and had given up hope with an escapable reptile room (under the door) and 4 cats in the rest of the house. But tonight my wife and I were just sitting on the couch looking at some of our geckos. I had just turned the TV off so we could focus more of our attention on the geckos. when I herd the unmistakable sound of a little screeemer. I was like what the Heck is going on and I ran towards the sound and there she was at the end of the hall warding of a cat. Unscathed not a mark on her. I was shocked I almost couldn't believe it.
My wife said to me has she was going to bed maybe we should call her Lucy. ( Ha Ha get it Loose... y) I think shes lucky lucy. View attachment 7348
