Worms?

Today i checked the new leopard gecko egg that i found yesterday and i noticed little clear worms crawling on the egg. Any idea?

Maybe baby meal worms? Better make sure they don't attack your eggs. Sounds like it's time for a cage clean.

I clean the egg off. Do you think tape worms or something like that from the mother?

post some pictures, it would help. we couldnt tell without inspecting photos of that clear worms thing.

My guess is the egg is going bad and that those are phorid fly maggots feeding on it.

Agreed. This is the only time I've ever seen any little worms on eggs. Does the egg have any odor?

JTG- are you sure the eggs were fertile to begin with?

I know you posted a thread about them a few days ago about denting

Ill check the smell later and the other two eggs one is fertile and the other one is not but that one does not have worms on it. The new one im not quite sure but when i looked at it when i found it it seem like there was a bulls eye on it.
