Hey a few days ago I got my first leopard gecko, she's really cool!

She's eating and drinking and sleeping fine, but tonight while handling her I noticed on her right side of her chest she has a small lump. This is under the skin and I'm not sure if it's her heart of anything serious.. Can anyone help?

Okay so I tried to get some pictures but it was impossible. She moves too much and I don't want her getting too stressed. However I did have a better look and I can describe the lump better.
It's about 2mm sticking out, it's a round lump, it's directly in between her front two legs.
That's about all I can say, hope this helps..
Could this be something serious or her heart? Could someone check to see if there leo's have this, maybe put up a picture? Thank you!

please get back to me asap encase its serious

do you have a clear plastic tank to put her in and hold up to take the pic instead of handling her?

camera battery just died

Does anyone have a belly pic of there leopard between its front legs? OR can someone just check? This might just be it's heart or something..

Most likely it doesnt invlovle the heart if its just under the dermal layer.

It could be something along the lines of a calcium build up, like humans get (cysts and stuff). But thats a guess

If it is not affecting her quality of life, most likely she is just fine.

could just be the way she appears? sometimes my geckos chest looks odd, like there is a bump in the middle, but it's just due to the way that the gecko stands sometimes.. I can't take any pics either though

Hey again! I just showed my mum the lump and my mum thinks it's her chest bone, because it's not directly in between her front legs its abit down and it's directly below her V shaped chest, is this possible? I tried moving her different angles but it's still there, maybe it's just a sticky out chest bone?

Hey! I got some pictures of that lump on my leo's chest.
My mum thinks it's her chestbone, but I thought I would double check.. I only just got this leo from a petstore.

Here they are:

Someone on another forum had a lump like this on his leo, but not in the same spot.
His leo has continued to eat, sleep and drink and live a normal life without any visible signs of discomfort and he advised me to keep an eye on it.
Anyone else got comments? theres like 40 people viewing this forum.. Please feel free to post..
