sounds like it could be the winter blues... course i dont know, our biggest male went on an eating strike and now all the sudden hes right back to chaseing down supers... i would say keep a good eye on him, if he shows signs of loosing weight , like alot of weight, then i would be concerned... if not try not to worry, he should be fine :) *thats my assumption anyways!*

I understand where you are coming from. Kiya will eat anything but her crickets, and she sleeps most of the day away. I have checked the temps and made sure it has nothing to do with that... So, I think she got bored of them.

I don't think you should worry too much right now until you see a drastic weight loss happening and he continues to not eat over a rather long period of time.

Seven of my adult geckos and my pair of AFT's have not eaten in a month and are nearly never out of their hides. I plan to start offering food again and reheating the vivs in early to mid-Jan.

Are you able to take him to a vet? If so, for your peace of mind I would do that. He could have some sort of parasite or something. Though, it could also be because its that time of year. If you are that worried, make a vet appointment. At the very least it will help you feel better. ^^

What food are you offering the gecko? Maybe try a different food and see if that stimulates his appetite. They love waxworms.

If he's on his UTH all the time, maybe it's because the air temperature is low everywhere else. Maybe a heat lamp would warm up the enclosure if that's the case.

He could be dark because he needs to shed but is too dry. Does he have a moist hide? Try putting a moist hide on or near the UTH. This may make him feel more secure and comfortable, which helps sometimes with appetite problems.
