would babies be fine?

would the babies be fine if they hatched on the weekend and i wasnt home because i am going camping from fri to sun and im pretty sure they will be hatching then or should i get a sitter to check the bator every day

I think I would rather leave them in the incubator than have the sitter check on them.. only b/c if she has no experience with them - they are fast and you dont want any escapes!! Two days in the bator should be fine unless they may dig up other eggs or ingest some substrate when shedding....

Is your egg container vented? If not, they will not last two days in a sealed container, someone will have to pop it open.

Good point! Since they're so close to hatching, I would vent the container before you go. I'm going to be in a similar situation in July. I have eggs scheduled to hatch the same weekend I'm supposed to go visit my family. I'm thinking of rescheduling my visit because I don't trust my fiance to not lose the baby. He doesn't believe me when I say that they're fast and furious. LOL
