Would this be interesting?

Eventually I might be interested in breeding. I have a young female now, far too young to lay fertile eggs, and am planning on a male soon. So it will be at LEAST a year, maybe even two, before I actually breed these two. I plan on spending that time really researching so I can anticipate their every need before the babies arrive. I would breed her only once, for pleasure, and make sure the babies all have wonderful homes. I would, of course, keep one, it being the baby of my first leo. I do NOT plan on breeding without knowledge of what they need and will make sure they have the best.

Having said that, I know near to nothing about morphs. I have a female bold stripe now, with the lavender spots and blue toes. I want to get a male mack super snow. Does anyone have any ideas of whether or not this cross would be a good idea, or maybe pictures of grown geckos that came from this cross? I'm thinking in theory that it would be really cool, but I don't know much about morphs and breeding.

Please don't flame me... I geniunely don't know. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you get a male super snow, all your babies will be snows (not super snow). THey will be born either black and white banded or may have partial or complete stripes. THere are many snows I've seen that have a partial stripe that makes it look as if they have a cross on their backs. I'm breeding super snow x stripe this season so I will see how it turns out. If you're lucky, as they age, they will turn pale yellow with black markings. If you are less lucky (although you may like this, actually), they will turn mustard yellow and as adults not look anything like snows, but more like high yellows Because the super snows all look very much the same, it's impossible to know what their genetic heritage is in terms of stripes, tendency toward fewer spots or anything else. If you like snows and are willing to have some that look like high yellows, get a super snow. If you love stripes, get another stripe.

Thanks! Definitely post some pics when you get hatchlings, I'm interested in seeing what comes out! I love stripes and snows, so A cross could definitely be interesting. My stripe already looks sort of mustardy... Well, sometimes. She'll randomly change color from a dark mustard to a regular yellow. No idea what causes it, but I suspect heat is a factor. It seems that when she spends extra time in her warm hide she gets darker...

If you want a striped snow, might I suggest some Bold Strips Snows from Geckos Etc. They might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Those are definitely some beautiful animals... Unfortunately I can't afford those prices. I was going to get a little one partly because of the lower price but mostly because I love raising leos. I'm in love with Marcia's hatchlings, and I'm definitely dreaming of a straight-up all white leo. The crosses are gorgeous, though! Thanks for the tip, I was hoping to find nice pictures of 'em!
