I've seen a view people who breed their blind leopardgecko.
Now I was wondering if it is a bad idea, especially if the blind gecko is a female, because this seems much like rape to me.
It is not rape if the female is ovulating and responsive to the male. If the female is not receptive, she will fight with the male. Breeding for leopard geckos is an instinct, not a decision.
In regard to breeding a blind gecko, if the reason for the blindness was genetic it should not be bred. I doubt that blindness in general in a genetic problem.
