wow!!! your video was amazing! I loved it :D i think it's sooo fascinating to watch.
I wish my leo would shed in front of the camera.. she hides away and i don't get to see it. I once caught her half shed because i was checking if she was okay :D

what kind of camera do you use? the quality is awesome :D .. and how do you get your geckos to be active during the day like that? :D i love how the other gecko looked almost like it was helping to get the skin off :D

Thanks for your comments!

The camera is a Canon HV-20 hidef camcorder. I just set it up on a tripod when I saw that Lucy (a Murphy patternless) was getting that ghostly "pre-shedding" look. It was just lucky that she had a really nice shed, and I was really surprised that Bliz (a blizzard) helped her pull the shed off.

I had only had my juvenile leos a few months at the time of that video, and thought they were both female. I kept them in the same tank, and they got along well, no dominance behavior or fighting. But one day I discovered them being very romantic, and realized that Bliz was a male. Off he went to a separate tank, but too late - Lucy was pregnant. She was only 40 grams at the time, but despite all my mistakes, two of the eggs hatched into healthy "normal" pattern leos, and Lucy did fine.

No wonder Bliz helped Lucy disrobe.:) The geckos figure out their gender before we do. I now use separate tanks for each of my leos.
