I love Craigslist...really do...
I saw a posting of someone wanting to trade a pair of leopard geckos for some sort of monitor. They were really looking for a baby sav. So I quickly emailed them asking for pictures, and was sent these:

I talked to her a bit, and she said that if I can find a baby sav, she would trade! She knows the value of these geckos, as she stated in her post, but really wants a sav monitor, and would like to just trade. I called up a buddy of mine that works at a nice pet store near me, and asked him if they had any. He said he'd bring me one tonight, I just pay $30 for him/her, then this weekend I'm driving to trade for the leos! How awesome is that???

That's incredible. I saw an ad in the RI craigslist a few weeks ago from someone "adopting out" a reverse stripe and a banded tremper from Steve Sykes for $65 and I was tempted, but I held out for the enigma I'm getting next week from Mel and Keith. New thread and pictures to follow when she arrives . . .

Wow, wicked!!! Yeah, Craigslist is awesome! I got a free high yellow and some good lavender female once from there. They didn't post her as free, but just gave her to me because they knew I had experience, and I would send updates. I send pictures and stuff to the family still, and they took fantastic care of her!

Keep an eye on the male when he sheds, since it looks like he had trouble at some point in his past. I like the male. He's pretty.
