Proving is fun because you never know what youre gonna get best thing to do is prove to non TUG lines - maybe even remove the het by 3rd generation although it will take time it can be done

I've actually never really done this before as I've usually only dealt with homozygous. So it's going to be a brand new experience! Any suggestions for a newbie?

So far I have a (supposed) TUG Snow female and a Mack Snow Enigma male. They both are 100% het albino, since they produced those babies in the pics. I just don't know which strain of albino yet. Then I have a SHTCTB male that is 100% het tremper and a Tangerine Enigma female that is 100% Het Bell.

Post some eye pics of the albinos, we'll be able to identify them for you

Yes, it is easier. Although if everyone based their purchases off of that logic, it gives those trying to get started or those who aren't as well known, absolutely zero chance to make it. I don't really find that fair to anyone with integrity who wants to get involved in our hobby. Also, if that was 100% true, then the TUG geckos I have that are the current problem here, wouldn't be a problem. I received a response back from the seller, and she said she purchased them directly from TUG and they were never advertised as het either. I have her attempting to contact them, but they've yet to respond to her. We shall see.

You're not the only one who has hit this issue lately I can tell you that much - There is a seller of TUG near me who has ceased all TUG sales because of this discovery

Sorry for the delay on the eye pics. I had a bit of a busy weekend. Hopefully this shot helps, its the best I could do with being a complete newbie with my camera.

I have no clue how to take closer pics. I have a Canon Digital Rebel T3 that my wife bought me for our anniversary 2 years ago, but have yet to learn all of its ins and outs. Let me know if this is good enough.

I'm going to call tremper because unless the parents were het radar it can't be bell

I have no clue what the parents could have been heterozygous for. With the seller saying she bought them both from TUG, I had no idea what was what. I also didn't know the albino's well enough to be able to figure it out.

Would you say with 100% certainty that they are Trempers? I tried incubating most of my eggs this year between 82-84, so I am hoping to be female heavy. If so I can breed these girls later on to my SHTCTB 100% Het Tremper male. That is, if his genetics are proper also.

As far as I'm aware they never crossed with radar but have with tremper so that's what id go with based on probability - can you show a pic if the babies body ?

The female was supposed to be a TUG Snow, even though she looks surprisingly like my Mack Snow female. The male was a Mack Snow Enigma. Both supposedly het for nothing.
