You Can't See Me... Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah!!!!

Ok, well I hope you all are willing to put up with me and my obsession - AKA my new baby leopard gecko. I have had a couple good but short handling sessions now, I don't want to stress her out too much! Well before tonight, she would sniff my hand but not relax, and then go hide under something.
Tonight was different - she smelled my hand and then laid down next to it and closed her eyes! So I decided to pick her up - before she always backed away, and she was a bit nervous tonight but she didn't run! So she sat in my lap for a good 15 minutes - it was wonderful! She didn't try to get away, and at one point (as you will see) she buried her head in my t-shirt and went to sleep! It was too cute - and it def. brought out my mothering instincts.


So here she is - first picture is out of focus a bit, I was having trouble with the camera!

Ha thanks everyone! My mother doesn't know about my gecko yet... not living with your parents has many advantages. She is visiting today though... hee hee hee.
She won't dislike her I think, although she's terrified of my snakes. As long as it has legs and eyelids she's fine. It just drives her nuts that I have many pets! But I know my limits, and all of my pets get the best care I can provide!

What a little cutie. I don't actually baby talk but i do talk to my geckos.I have a couple that I swear know my voice.I talk to them and Eben and Akasha come to the glass and start jumping around.

Thanks! I will for sure - I've only had her a week and I'm always snapping new shots! I can't wait for her to get bigger so I can try to get a picture of her eye...
