Young Leo Digestion Problems?

I've been feeding my leo meal worms lately, and he doesn't seem to be fully digesting them... as in he excretes at least one of them after a feeding of 2-4 almost whole.... I don't know if this is normal, or what I should do about it. I've tried raising the temp higher, around 95-97, because someone said that it helped digestion. When I fed him a some crickets before trying the mealworms when I first got him, he didn't seem to fully digest one of the crickets as well.

sounds like he is regurgitating them. how is your gecko set up and how old and how big is she/he?

I'm not sure how old it is, but it's still got full striping so I assume pretty young. I would say it's about 3-4 inches long in total length. I have the smallest UTH by Zoomed on one half of my 10 gallon tank, with paper towel substrate. He's constantly underneath the hut that's over the UTH, and I try to keep the tank at around 95 degrees... but at night it does lower down to around 86 sometimes. This is just because I keep a fan going in my room, and the tank will soon be in the living room when I move in my new apartment next week, so it will stay a more constant temperature at night (hopefully). Regulating the temp has been tricky, as it seems to keep shifting around constantly, sometimes keeping heat and staying around 95, sometimes lowering to around 90 when I'm gone to work. I have smooth rocks around the tank for decor, and he loves to lay on them, so I put them on the warm end also and he likes how they heat up from the UTH. I leave some parts bare other than the paper towel though, so he can move around and adjust how warm he wants to be.

Theres also a water bowl/shallow rock, and a small dish with some mealies in it that he hasn't touched.

Yes, I'm using a glass canister type thing (for restaurants to put coffee stirrers in, if you can picture that) with a damp paper towel in it at the cool end of the tank. The UTH is only around 4", and just takes up one corner with a half log hut over it with the rocks.
