Young skinny gecko.

So got this skinny gecko on a whim, few months ago 15$.
It was small with a much larger one in the cage with it.
I liked how it looked and wanted to get it to thrive

Still not a good eater, has very little fat in the tail.
I use paper towel for substrate. Been feeding dusted mealworms.

It shed a week ago has only eaten one mealworm since that I force fed it this am.
Seems alert and viable otherwise.

Crud... looks like stick tale huh ?
Guess there's not much to do except a vet :/ .
Better to euthanize ? Is a freeze the preferred method ?

Or.. it only wants crickets and would rather starve than eat anything else.

He is eating crickets (with some coaxing) I also places a new heat pad that is adjustable so a bit warmer.
Starting to see some fat on his tail.

thats good im glad to hear! idk if you tried wax worms but i hear they are like a treat for geckos and are very fatty he may like those!
