Zoo Exaggeration

The Turtleback Zoo in New Jersey claims to have the only breeding pair of "Black Dragons" (some sub species of monitor) in the country, yet i've seen black dragons for sale in the kingsnake classifieds. Is anyone willing to shed some light on the issue?

That could be true. The ones you've seen on kingsnake could be imports. If something is "captive born" or "captive hatched" it usually means that a female came into the US gravid.

i kno personally of 2 other individuals that breed black dragons lol
