Zoo Med or Exo Terra Terrarium??????

Should I go with the Zoo Med terrarium or the Exo Terra Terrarium? I am looking for the 12x12x18. They both have the size. I have heard people like the Zoo Med because the single door is easier and quieter when you open it. But my question is: Does it have the vines and background with it? I am going to the store tomorrow and I might find out these things but I thought I would ask first.

Please help thanks. Also this tank is for a crested gecko. Maybe 2 next season if I decide to breed. But right now I want one crested gecko as a pet.

I have one of each, and it really doesnt matter, in my opinion, they are about equal-neither make noise when i open them....and no, i don't think they come with anything, but look at the box, it will list it if they do.

I have all Exo Terra's...I don't have a preference either. I've only purchased the Exo Terra's because that's what is mostly around where I live. I've seen the Zoo Med ones, occassionaly, they seem ok. I think where I live though, the Zoo Med are a bit more money then the Exo Terra's.

OH...and the Exo Terra's (if your store supplies them) you can get Jungle or Desert habitats (starter kits). They come with dishes, plants, substrate, or hides. Depends on which one you go with. Desert - Sand, water dish, a rock ornament, foam background, and a hide. Jungle - Vine, plant, water dish, foam background, and some coconut bark. Both units, come with a "energy" efficant light fixture. But the bulbs are not included. So you have to pick, a desert 10.0, jungle 5.0, or I also believe there is a Sun. They come in 13w or 26w.

^^^ Couldn't have said it better myself. I just recently picked up a 75gallon tank and stand for $75 in perfect condition. CL is your friend.

The Exo Terra 18x18 medium desert kit is fantastic and a great value....one leo per only though. They have a nice 36 inch size too which could hold 3 leos.
Good quality and easy to work with. I have 4 Exo 18x18 and wish I had room for more!

I am looking for 12x12x18 for a crested... And I bought it already. It is just the cage though. I got it for 60 I am going to build the inside.
