My leos love these. I have one in each cage. I just put some paper towel in and mist it daily, twice if they are going into shed. I highly recommend them, but the small has too small an opening for an adult leo to fit into. I suggest the mediums.
I second that! I only have two, and my leos in those cages LOVE THEM! I am looking into getting more, but I dont have the extra money right now. I have the small ones, and those are good for juvies, but they dont work for my adults. I need at least the medium ones, or large if more than one leo will be sleeping in one.
I put moist bed-a-beast in mine and only put this cave in for shedding times, otherwise the leos stay in there exclusively because it is so cozy! This shelter will generally not get warm enough even if you put it on the UTH because it is so heavy duty, plus leos may eat some of the bed-a-beast, not good! But it is an awesome shelter for shed times. Do not use the same shelter between leos, especially between males and fems. I have a separate one for each terrarium and label each one so I never mix them up. If you have to use them with multiple setups wash it out thoroughly and put fresh bedabeast in each time. Moist paper towels work too though.
These can also be used for lay boxes (with bedabeast).
Its annoying because i dont have room for the medium one, i need one thats half way between medium and small! Are there any other shedding caves around that are slightly smaller than the medium one?
