Alright, while I was advised to use a temp gun to monitor my geckos, I am looking into all options. Would the titled product be good used in conjunction with the Zoo Med Repti-Therm UTH? And do they come with instructions on how to use?

I have one of these. You just plug the UTH into the thermostat, place the probe on the hot side and plug the thermostat into an outlet. The one thing I don't like about it is that at least my model doesn't have temp numbers, but instead has a dial that goes from light brown to dark brown, kind of like a toaster. That's where the temp gun comes in. Set up the thermostat at maximum, give it at least 6 hours to get up to speed, then use the temp gun to see what the temp is. If it's too high, lower the thermostat a bit and then check with the temp gun in a few hours.
