Sorry for the absence :3 it did turn out he was scaleless but he didn't make it :( I don't know why.... He was the only crestie that season not to pull through.. And the only crestie who looked scaless like this
this case really baffled me!
Species: brook king snake
Age: 6 years
40 gallon tank
50 gallon UTH with thermostat
Substrate: aspen
Temperature: 83
Story:
He went into shed last week on feeding day so I skipped that feeding day knowing he wouldn't eat and I left him to do his thing, so I...
My last egg of the season hatch on the 22nd. But on closer inspection he's not like a normal crestie!! his skin looks off, and feels different to the touch then a normal crestie. The best way I can explain it is all my other cresites feel like 'swade' when this guy almost feels sticky or tacky...
this was my very first crestie I ever hatched, or anything I have ever hatched for that matter! He is now 4 months old.
He is not fired up in the photos; He has funny colors and little specals all over its cute
Baby #1 (Treeko) I kept him Hatched September 7th 2013
Baby #2 (unnamed) new home hatched September 8th 2013
Baby #3 (Spooker) hatched october 31st 2013
Baby #4 (unnamed) Hatched november 1st
This is my very first year of gecko breeding!! I have 2 other eggs...
OMG my very first baby just hatched out of the egg!
this is how i found him out of the egg
and this is him, he was starting to shed so i misted his house extra
i like his wee little pin stipe on his butt
This is so exciting
Its been 18 days of my crested gecko eggs incubating and I decided to candle them! I saw the little circle target shape on the top of the egg and that the egg is starting to turn a pinkish and not all yellow. I'm very excited this is my first clutch ever and the eggs i think seem to be fertile!
lastnight I noticed my female digging in her moist hide.. And a very hard sleep later I have my very first clutch of eggs ever!
(computer messed up photos)
I have two crested gecko's one is a male and one is a female. While cleaning out the two tanks today my female look more chubby then usual! I had the geckos for about 3 years now. I never had a pregant gecko before! And I'm at a lost for what to do.
-If she is pregant do I build her a lay...
