100 gallon terrarium question

How big/old should my crested gecko be before putting it into a 100 gallon terrarium?

For specifics, my tank is 36x18x36.

I want to move a crested gecko into this enclosure but I'm worried about it not being able to find its food/possible injury? I've heard weight is an important factor when deciding a gecko's enclosure size but I'm not sure of the specifics.

If my gecko is too tiny/not enough grams/not old enough, can I still put it into the 100 gallons? Are there manual steps I can take, like moving it to its food dish if it isn't eating, to make sure it'll survive perfectly in there until it's old/big enough?

If you do put him in there I would leave a food dish in there but then also take him out everyday to feed him by hand.

My tanks were either 10gallon glas tanks from PETCO for the baby geckos or 48x18x18 wooden custom-made cages. When I put a juvenile into a bigger tank, I always put food dishes and calcium dishes in different parts of the larger cage.
