They look like they are alive and alert. Weird. It also says that they are over a year old. I wonder how old that page/picture is. Really good price though... ;)

We hatched out a two headed crested gecko last year. It however was not alive. :(

I first found that web site in February 2006. Who knows if "it" is still alive, it looks like the home page has been up kept.

personally i think it is sickening to exploit deformed animals. most times other than the outward appearance they have other internal issues as well and generally should be put donw.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I say give em a chance first, I mean it may not have any problems internally at all. If I had a few extra fingers or an ear would you put me down? Granted and extra head is more serious, but still the principle is the same. And let us not forget our little reptile friends are tough little blighters.

I agree more with the part where the animal shouldn't be exploited more than the put the animal down part, unless it is in bad shape. However, if they're willing to exploit it who's to say that something isn't wrong with the animal and they're just keeping it alive to get their $150,000?

yes the exploit part. if it can survive and someone is not trying to make a buck off of it and has the ethics to not breed it. go for it give it a chamce but do not support the animals life if it can not on its own. hey don't get me wrong here. i have a boa with a 90 degree bend in her neck. she will never be bred and she can eat normally with no assistance on her own. we do not have to help her in anyway. it doesnt interfere with her quality of life. two heads is allot different than an extra finger. generally each head eats. they have their OWN brain even as small as it might be. generally many more problems occur in these animals. even allot of siamese twins (humans) do not make it and allot of times one of the twins is generally weaker (sharing the same internal organs most times) making the stronger one weaker as well.

psh, forget the 150 grand. I'd keep it for myself.

how cool would it be to show your friends a two headed dragon. It would be one heck of a conversation starter to boot.

I agree that it's exploitation is wrong, and I know that a head is different than a finger. I was just saying it to get a point across for lack of better thought pattern that evening lol. But yeah we agree if it can take care of its self and its quality of life is ok then let it live. Glad we are on the same page

Yikes, that's crazy! Wasn't someone trying to sell a two-headed snake at Tinley for some outrageous price?

Why are people so messed up? Poor little herps...

the animal should be vet checked to make sure it is in fact healthy and pain free, if this is so then so be it, but if not then it should be put down
