Last time 2 geckos have hatched in my lil, amateur breeding.
Everything is alright, but there is one thing that keeps bothering me - their morph.
I've asked this question many times on polish forums, however nobody could define exactly.

I have 4 geckos:
3 females:
*Mack Snow
*Tremper Albino
*Mack Snow Tremper Albino
1 male
*Enigma

And now hatchlings, 1st one older 2nd younger - unfortunately both different parents I guess...

First gecko(older) photo taken 24 september 2011

another photo - taken 14 DEC 2011

and eyes(sorry for quality but I think its better than nothing :p )

Me and many people thinks its Mack Snow Enigma however doesnt it have too much yellow colour ?

And second gecko(younger - much more difficult to define)

And eyes (quality even worse cos gecko kept running around but looks pretty much the same as older's eyes)

Hopefully someone here will be able to define those morphs.
I would be really thankful for any help :]

Next time you should prob. separate the female so that you know EXACTLY that the parents are. ;)

Good idea though I keep it as little amateur breeding. Dont want to make big money, Im happy when its enough to pay for food, vitamins, sand, energy and stuff like that :p
I keep 4 adults together in decorative terrarium and I just dont see any reason (except for who is mother :p ) to separate them ;d

If you watch them carefully you will know who the mother is: look at the females' bellies every day to see who has eggs. Weigh the geckos often. If you think someone has laid, weigh her and see if she's lost 10 grams or so. Usually a gecko will stay in the lay box for a while after she's laid.

I keep 1.2 and occasionally (though not lately) 1.3 together throughout the breeding season and always know who the geckos came from.

I understand when you say that it's just an amateur breeding project, but that's no reason not to be careful about parents, lineage and morphs.
