Hello!

My female leopard gecko don't eat much worms on the last 2 weeks. I think that she is ovulating, but I only go to the vet with the female in 5 days, because the vet is on vacances. Do you know something that I can do to my female eat?

I give the calcium and d3 suplements, the temperatures are 32º-26º, and I don't know what to do.

Im pretty sure your temp should be someone from 82-90 degrees thats probly why shes not eating her belly needs to be warm

I'm sorry, I forgot that you work with Farenheight. the temperatures are between 32ºC and 26ºC, the same as 89F to 78F

That still sounds a little low. The warm side on the floor of the tank should be 95-98F. Cool side should be in the low 80s F. Try that and see if that will help. :)

Don't give up on feeding. Continue to offer food as usual. Rotate the mealworms out if that is what you are feeding to keep them fresh and enticing for your leo.

I had two female Blizzards that did not eat for almost a month. Sooner or later, their drive and hunger will kick in and they will start eating again.

No different then us, given a choice, we might not even think twice about eating certain food, but when we have not had anything to eat for a couple of days, anything looks good :main_yes:

Hello!

I went to the exotic vet with my female, he did an analysis to the last faeces and did'nt find any parasites, but the faeces have almost 2 weeks. Then, he made her an ultrasound and said me that no infertille eggs in her body. Finally, he took a blood sample and examined it, only today i will know the results of this analysis.

Do you think that she perhaps lived up to some kind of food and reject the others, even hungry?

Just because he didn't find any infertile eggs doesn't mean that she isn't ovulating. Many females will reabsorb the follicles as soon as they start to form. Have you tried feeding her crickets or superworms yet? They're usually more appetizing than mealworms since they move around more.

She don't eat anything, I tried crickets, roachs, mealworms.

My vet said to force feed some pieces of mealwors if she didn't eat anything in the next hours, what do you say?

I had a female go almost 2 months without eating before. Then one day she just started. Now I can't get her to stop lol. As long as the temps are correct and she is not getting too thin, just keep offering her food. I hope everything works out for her.
