This is Amber's first year of breeding, and so far she's laid two clutches of eggs without a problem. It's been 3 weeks so far, and she hasn't laid her 3rd. She's still eating, so I think for now we can rule eggbinding out. I can't see any eggs, which is leading me to believe that she's probably reabsorbing her eggs. What do you guys think? If she is reabsorbing the eggs, then is there a chance of any more eggs from her this season? Thank you all in advance:) .

One of my females is done laying this year. She layed 1 clutch. It happens with first year breeders. She was 84 grams aswell so it wasn't her weight. If you haven't been seeing eggs in her good chance she's done. What's her weight out of curiosity?

Sometimes it takes new breeders longer than 2 weeks between clutches even if they have done it in 2 weeks previously. If the male isn't still in with the female, you might try reintroducing them.

Kaleb, my female's weight is currently 55 grams, but when I first introduced them, she was 60. Both clutches so far has just been one egg, so do you think she is taking longer because it may be two this time? Thanks!

She's taken longer because she's a new breeder. She may be absorbing the eggs. She may just be waiting a little longer to lay them.

My gecko just laid her second clutch 33 days after her first ~ The day after tomorrow would have been 5 weeks! These are her first eggs also, so yours may not be done yet.

Lol, thanks guys. She's still eating like a pig, so I guess this one will be suspenseful. If her first egg were fertile, it would be hatching soon, but it wasn't. Thanks again!
