67 days....so far

My leopard gecko laid her eggs on March 1st. I already know they are fertile. They have been incubating in a hova bator 1602 at 84 degrees with hatchrite as a medium. Anybody have a clue when they should hatch?

Well, a friend of mine incubates just a bit colder and his incubation time is around 80 days.

I count only 62 days. As long as they look good, you just need to be patient One way we know when our eggs are going to hatch soon is because they nearly double in size during the last week. Also, if you candle them, see if they glow white (apart from the embryo inside, which will be a dark shadow). Eggs also glow white instead of pink or red when they are close to hatching

They also get pointy in one side were the head is. They get squishy and hard on and off again and like the next day they hatch.

I had a clutch dropped on March 1st, as well. They were incubated at 82F and hatched at day 57 and 59.

Just be patient with them.

I've never experienced the pointy end, or at least I've never noticed it. But the eggs will double in side and slightly deform a day before hatching. (Usually from my experience.)

I have noticed a pointy end, but not always.. Same with egg sweating, there's been eggs that I've seen sweat for awhile before hatching; while others didn't appear to sweat at all (I literally checked for sweat - which was absent - came back shortly thereafter and found a hatchling)

OMG!!! I just went to go look in my incubator and there were two babies. They just hatched. I am going to let them sit in the incubator for a little while!!! My first hatchling ever!!!!!! :main_yes: :main_laugh: :main_laugh: :main_thumbsup:
