I fourth that . Looks like the enigma gene takes the patternless gene that is in the stripes and flies with it.
Many red stripe and bold stripes x to enigmas turn out patternless.

Good observation. We've noticed that a fair % of the more hypo Redstripes start out looking super hot and turn to patternless animals with little or no visible striping on the body - like a SHTCT with a striped tail.
