I had swapped over from mealies to crickets and roaches a while back, about the time that themeal worm stuffhit the fan. Believe what you want but Ihave lost 2/3 of my eggs since getting off to a great start this year. Now that I have been off the mealies for a while I am starting to see some improvements. Anyways here ya go:
First up is Red eyed banded raptor,

Next is its sibling, an eclipse:

The next ones that hatched was also a banded raptor and an eclipse but the raptor was NOT willing to have it picture taken.

hey tom good looking geckos! I know alot of people that swear by mealies, I ve always had good luck with crickets. I was really happy I didnt have to switch over during "The Great Mealworm Shortage" :)

Congrats great geckos! I was lucky that the mealworm shortage didn't effect us either. With breeding out our own mealworms I have had more then needed. I suggest people that use mealies do the same b/c they're too easy to breed and it's alot easier then buying and getting through the mail and saves $$. Plus my mealworms are the healthiest I've ever seen! I think the insect doesn't matter as much it's how well the inscect is fed- Gutloaded that really matters.
