I have a pair that I mated this year and I'm a bit confused with the outcomes. I know the pairing isn't everyones cup of tea. The male is a Bell Ghost Enigma and the female is a tremper. I've had some interesting outcomes from this group which I've posted. The real question is I've got 2 reverse stipe juvies from this and niether parent is striped. I'd like to know if this is a normal outcome or do I have something else going on with the female?

It seems so far that the stripe/jungle gene is not so well understood. I can only say that a few years ago I bred my stripe female to my banded tremper male and got 50% striped babies. I have never gotten that high a percentage of stripes from a stripe/non-stripe cross before. What's more, when I bred the same male to one of his daughters (SHTCT, not a stripe) I got a few jungles, one with snake eyes. To make things more confusing, when I bred this male last season with his grandaughter, who is an albino stripe, once again I got relatively few stripes. If you do some crosses with different geckos, you may find out which one (or both) is/are responsible for the stripes.

Yes both parents are banded. SO thats why I'm confused as to the stripe outcome. Would it come from dad or mom?
