I incubate my female Tremper Albino eggs at 86ish. I do get some males out of that but the females do have the brighter colors. The other two albino lines I incubate for female at 82.

Well since I only do Bells I incubated at 82 for female last year, but this year I'm doing 80 because I got a couple males at 82. I'm not talking Macks either...

We incubate our females at about 85. We have far less eggs in the male incubator so getting a few males out of the female incubator isn't a big deal.

Mel ... is that YOUR enigma in the avatar??

As far as female albinos go, I don't own any BROWN geckos. heehee If I did, I would go for a steady temp.

i incubate my female in a range from 82 to 85...i don't change incubation temperature because i don't think is a soo good idea and i'm not soo expert so i don't whant take the risk to lost some babies for the bright colors (this is the reason why i have more RW and Bells than trempers :main_laugh: )

i actualy have 5 incubators set up at different temps. 4 of them are for females and one is for males. its kinda like a chain the eggs get moved as new ones get put in. 6 egg containers can fit in each incubator. each container is numbered and dated. so as a new egg container comes in the lowest number moves on to the next incubator, therfore pushing another one to the next incubator and so on and so on by the time they get to the last incubator they stay there intill they hatch. as of now i have yet to run out of room but it might happen. when i only had 3 (1 male and 2 female) i ran out of room.

the temps are as fallows the 3 degrees is the low-high that the incubator goes the hova bators are not realy steady with the temp control.
#1 is 81-83 the eggs might skip this step if there is room in the other incubator
#2 is 83-85
#3 is 85-87 has a picture window to see with out opening
#4 is 87-89 has a picture window to see with out opening

#5 is for males its usualy 89-90 has a picture window to see with out opening

it is also like every one says too. i still get males from the female incubators as well.

this way dose work well for me, but if you only have a few eggs a year it wouldnt work to well. to have all of thoughs incubators.

I've heard of some bad things happen if you change the temps like that. We thought about it early last year but were talked out of it due to malformaitons of their limbs and such. Good Luck
