I've noticed a few of my leos have smaller shorter snots/faces then the others. Is this genetically something bad or does it not play a roll in that? I know we all have different faces but apparently i just learnt that Curled tailed geckos are a gentic mess and shouldnt be messed with SO i was curious about that(started a new thread;D) since theroetically a shorter faced gecko would have a harder time catching food to a normal sized one. This doesnt prove true with my own but then Bel's a glutan along with the rest(there are 3 of my 16). Thoughts?

It may be possable but i wouldent mess with PHYSICAL changes to an animal. Alot of short faced dogs have alot of breathing problems so i figure short faced geckos would have the same effect. Physical changes to the geckos antomy shouldent be messed with.

I have found that some of the super snows seem to have shorter snouts. I have one super snow male that has a shorter snout and also appears to have blocked nostrils which makes him a mouth breather. I'm not saying that one causes the other or is even related to the other, but in the case of this male I have retired him from breeding.
