Do ovulating females usually ovulate for? While I can't see a pink spot on Tiamat's tummy, I'm pretty sure she is ovulating. She hasn't eaten anything in about three weeks now, but she's only lost one gram, and she seems very active and spunky.

Is there a possibility that when fall rolls around she'll cease ovulation? Or will she continue until she is bred?

Also I apologize if you clicked on this thread looking for something else. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more. :p

I don't breed my leos, I've had ovulating females that stopped eating for a whopping 7 months (from Dec to July, lost 20% weight)! Then one day she just resumed normal eating all of a sudden. (I did give her a tiny bit of slurry once every 2 weeks or so).

So when females are ovulating, they are reluctant to eat?
I noticed this thread and thought it might explain why mine hasn't been eating much, but I can't seem to find a pink spot on her stomach. She's a year old, don't know how much she weighs though, I beleive she's full grown.
