it would work if u could find a way to put heat tape on the bottom or maybe could put little pieces of wood between each tub..idk

They will not work, its impossible to heat them... also the tubs are made with a very thin plastic which could potentially be a Fire Hazard. Also they are very difficult to secure and all it takes it something as simple as a Leopard Gecko scratching against the walls of the tub for them to jerk open.

i got your message. Well it finally decided to let me see them. If you did do it id get the 4 one. And it wouldnt be impossible to heat-There is back heat-not the best but it works. And all youd need to do to secure them is a little bit of tape or they even have these lock like things. Ill try to find them and give you a link

you could probably build a rack that is sturdier and would be able to have belly heat easily for the same price or less just get some wood screws and rubbermaids and a measuring tape :D http://www.geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=14228 that is a good thread someone made on building racks, of course yours would be smaller but the idea is the same

I have something similar - I use heat cable with that. Beetween boxes there are X-plastic things - I put cable directly on them, works perfect. The problem with my system is my geckos often escape...:(

He is correct, I have actually tried that system at first, and within about 2 weeks, I bought commercial made racks. Seriously don’t waste your time or money on those racks.

i've used them before for about a year with a small heat pad under each shelf(had originally placed a small pad on the back of each tub, but wasnt happy with the heating, and had to be careful of cords everytime i opened/closed them) , just be careful about over heating as the rack itself is made of a cheaper plastic then the tubs, the only problem i had was when i was breeding in the racks and had two hides stacked on each other, i basically made a set of stairs for them to climb out as the tops on these are not solid (found everyone safe and sound) besides this they worked fine
