I've been researching Crested Geckos and every website has different recommendations so i thought I'd come here and ask. Whats the absolute minimum for an adult crested enclosure? I'm looking for actually measurements if thats possible.

I have mine in an exoterra 12x12x18 and wouldn't go any smaller. Another option is a 10 gallon tank set up on its side so it would be 20" high and 10"x12" long and wide.

I have an 18x18x24 exo terra, I believe, I wouldn't want to go smaller than that as he's a big boy and they like to jump around.

That would work. All my geckos are in Sterilite tubs. You can get the 66qt cheaper and that is big enough for one or a small group of adults.:) You can find them almost anywhere that sells Sterilite tubs.

Yeah, exo terra's are hecka expensive. Before the Exo I got, I had mine in a 20 long on it's side..I guess I just like to give my animals a lot of room.

Do you have pictures of your sterilite tub set ups?

I keep the adults in a rack that holds 66qt tubs.

This was one of the old tubs I used before I got the rack, just cut the top and put screen over it. It's my roach bin now.

And this is the Sterilite Show Offs, I think 20 qt, they're good for sub adults.

QUESTION!!: How do you cut a hole in the sterilite tubs!?! I did for my Roach bins, but the plastic cracks when you cut it...so it's a zig zag hole...lol

i know some poeple have saws but im not sure what kind. A good idea for putting holes in the tubs is to use a soldering iron so the plastic melts and no bit of plastic get in the cage or on the ground.

Eric, where did you get those racks from? Also, how many adults do you house in each tub. I currently do 1.1 in Ex Large KK's but I gotta upgrade soon because we have 50 juvies that are ready to be relocated :)

The tops to those do not crack but the sides do. I just used a razor blade and cut out the top.
