Alife Thermostat

A few people on here have told me to get the Alife 1000 watt thermostat. I was just looking for places online to buy it and I came across many complaints about the product. Multiple people have said theirs has been defective and stopped working correctly within just weeks. I am on a semi-tight budget and cannot be spending hundreds of dollars on a thermostat. Can anyone give me some more info on this or some other reliable brand?

I have 3 ALife Thermostats. They work great for me. I got them on ebay too so they were very reasonable.

That one looks just like my ALife one, but my Alife Thermostat has 3 plug-ins.

Kyle, I found that seller on eBay you told me about. They only have one up right now. Some guy has overbid me up over $30.00, so that is no longer a good deal.

I've boughten 3 from that person. They release one at a time. I know they have more. I suggest sending them a message. They might be able to cut you a deal.

I have 5 thermostats I'm using for tanks at the moment. Some are Alife and some are ESU (that's what the link was for). Some are 1 outlet and some are 3 outlet. The Alife and the ESU look exactly alike so I'm assuming they come from the same manufacturer. I had also read about the complaints but got them anyway and decided to just check temps very carefully. I have not had any problem with any of them. There is a reptile supply on-line place (can't remember the name) that has big discounts if you buy multiples of the same items. I think I got 5 ESU's or Alife's for $100 which is $20 each. I also have the big apple herpstat for my incubator since it's proportional. It has worked very well, but cost over $100.

I have every rack on a ALIFE and have never had a malfunction problem. FOr the moeny they cant be beat

The one i gave, though its hard to see, has 3 plug ins, 1 on a side and 2 on the other side.
