i tell my clients NO all the time too.....but then they swear at me or flip me off or say YES. I've been pushing for the legal use of cattle prods in our company but i suppose that sort of thing is frowned upon.....
Once a Marine always a Marine! Ill let the Wing slide...... they did alot of work for us in Iraq......heck a 30min helo ride is much better than a 10 hour HUMMVE ride or humping it.
I am a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 9 here in Chicago and employed with a Directional Boring Company. We install pipe underground by drilling a hole from point A to point B. Once we reach point B we pull the pipe back in the hole we just bored out. I am the Locator on the crew, which basically is the person that walks above the drill bit and radios back the information needed to steer the bit in the right direction. I LOVE my job and thankfully I haven't had any hits (i.e. Gas Mains, Water Mains, Sewers, ect.)
degree in computer information...and back working as a cook at primantis lol. having a bad attitude and working for several gas companies didnt mix i guess.
hmm... well I am a student but have no clue what I want to do with myself, so.. still trying to figure that out. I am taking off from school this semester and will be finishing up a regular AA degree next semester.. after that, who knows.. got a lot of other problems I need to sift through at the moment. Our lease here ends this December and we're trying to figure out where we are going next. We very well may end up moving to northern California by next summer. After that, I would like to take certification courses to become a Vet. tech... maybe do something with computer graphics, I don't know :main_robin:
As for work, I work from home for this guy that sells aftermarket auto parts on eBay... my work ranges from customer service, pricing, editing inventory data, etc.. I have created images for him, from his business cards to postcards that he uses.. fun stuff!
I've done a lot of crazy work before, from working in a metal shop and casting "guardian bells" for motorcycle shops, to working for Aftermath.. only went on one job for Aftermath though.
Wow...I guess I never answered this thread when it first popped up. I guess I will now.
