i am a city employee (analyst II)HAHA most hated agency in philadelphia THE PHILADELPHIA PARKING AUTHORITY!

That's awesome! I get so mad at how mean people are about getting tickets on "Parking Wars". For Pete's sake, if you're gonna park in a no parking zone be ready to get a ticket! I don't know why people always blame the PPA.

Just curious in pilots in the group

I have a hot air balloon pilots license but no fixed wing if that's what you're asking? I fly a club owned balloon in and around Alberta.

Any other pilots out there?

I am the Field Service Manager for a large manufacturer of powder processing equipment. This means I often have to travel all over the country and sometimes to other countries as well.

Meh, I'm hoping to write books at the side as well.......I've always wanted to be in the film industry, but behind the scenes - as a concept artist or scriptwriter......but I think that I'm going to enjoy being an exotic vet (*fingers crossed*) even more!

I'm currently writing a trilogy in my spare time...but, eh, it's kind of been pushed to the side at the moment, due to frantic preparations for the dreaded exams, looming over my head. *gulp* Let me think...at the moment, I'm still on the first book after 7 months, but I've written 234 pages. Nearly there. Just another two books to go.....*sighs*

Hey, how bout that, I'm not the only person with concept artist on the mind!

I'm a student right now... just about to graduate highschool. Then I'm going to aim for something art related, my ultimate goal to be a concept artist for the film industry, but I could do video games too. Just trying to draw as much as I can right now :D.
And if my job as a crazy, head-in-the-clouds artist truly comes to pass, keeping the reptiles will be something to keep me sane and get my mind back into reality.

(unfortunately) I am a paralegal at a well known Atlanta-based real estate law firm. My job includes drafting documents such as complaints, consent orders, defaults, etc. for failure to pay Homeowner and Condominium Association assessments, dues, and late fees.

Apparently I am the youngest person in the firm, but still hold one of the "highest" jobs within litigation aside from Attorney (however I have asked them several times if they would give me an honorary bar number -- that didn't go over too well).

The plan, hopefully, is Veterinary School sometime in the future. Pushing papers all day long with an obnoxious attorney breathing down your neck as you make last minute edits to revert the document back to the original state that you had it (before he decided that it needed to be changed the day before..) 10 minutes before they have to leave to be at a hearing isn't as glamorous as one might think.

Fun thread!

I am currently attending Young Harris College (http://yhc.edu). They are currently a two year school changing to four year. I may transfer to Ga State or I may stay here. I am majoring in business and have hopes of owning my own businesses.. This seems like a long shot. I may also go into Government work, involving technology.

While I am here I am active in the Leadership group, Student Government, and Invisible Children Benefit.

I am working as a freelance web designer and loving the hours and pay :).

I'm a student at the University of Maryland at College Park with a major in Japanese. I went to Japan for the first time a little over a year ago for nearly the month of January 07. I absolutely loved it! I'm trying to find a 3-4 month (at least) program for [intensive] language study over there. I think it'd be awesome and I really want to be fluent. Currently, I can read and understand, but my speaking abilities are craptastic!

When I'm not studying, I do freelance web design, but I'm starting to discover a stronger interest in web application development. I do my stuff in PHP/MySQL and am working on my certifications in each.

Starting this summer, I should have a job lined up at one of the best advertising firms in the DC area, so I'm really psyched about that.

I'm still looking for any classes or such to learn more about web design and development. It's a slow processes learning by myself, but after being recently betrayed by someone I intended to work with... I'm sticking to hitori de (alone) unless I get a class. lol

Kinda blown that there are going to by MySQL/PHP development classes held in downtown DC in late April/early May, but I don't have the $2,000 it costs to take the class. *sigh*

I have a strong interest in visual special effects and am still playing with the idea of going to art school after I get my BA for a second degree in Animation and SFX. I don't know how that would affect my desire to go back to Japan though.
