Am I overreacting?

I am probably just overreacting but my leo, which I believe is somewhere between 3-7 months old, seems uninterested in food today. He was very active early this morning, so I took him out of his cage for the first time for a few minutes, if it matters. Lately he hasnt been as agressive with eating like he used to. I give him about 6 mealworms a day, but he could probably eat more, I just dont have enough mealworms. He completly ignored the bowl when I put it infront of him, and wouldnt eat until I picked one up and put it directly in front of him. Even then he was not to excited and just lunged a few times before getting it. I hope it is just the drop in temperature(his warm side temp went from 91 to 87 yesterday) thats making him lose his appetite. He is healthy (at least visibly) with a plump tail and everything, in a 10 gallon tank by himself with repti-carpet,fresh water, 2 dry hides and 1 humid hide, and his mercury thermometer on the warm side. Please tell me you think it's the change in temperatures.

Some geckos, even young ones, are reacting to the drop in light and temperatures outside and eating less. ALso, I find that once the gecko gets to about 35-40 grams they eat less and less often.

it seems that it might be the weather. If it persist and he looses weight or the fatness in his tail then worry but if it just a day keep an eye on him. Leave some mealies over night to see if he eats them when your not watching.

A few days ago my Leo had a little PMS stopped eating for 2-3days and locked herself in her cave with a very nasty attitude. She soon resumed eating even though a little less each day.

He ate 4 worms tonight, at least I think so. I only saw him eat 3, the other may have escaped. He is active again and his BM was pretty small. I just hope he is "normal" before New Years, or I will be worrying about him while I go on vacation for a week.

Just to be sure it was the temperature, and to stop me from worrying, I rose the temperature back up to 91 using the rheostat. Today hes back to eating aggressively. Now my question is: is brumating (thats what this is I guess) good in any way for the gecko, and I assume it would be fine not to brumate?
