Amount of Hides

I got my little guy/gal in a 10 gallon and I am wondering how many hides I need.

Here is my current setup:

However, I feel like it is too crowded in there for my guy. Should i remove the cool hide and replace it with the humid one? Should I remove the humid one?

Any input would be immensly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kyle

If that substrate is sand you need to remove it emediately. and use paper towels. you can also use plastic food containers or tupperware if you cant get any smaller hides.

I swear, we need a FAQ sticky. Questions like this pop up all the time. The hides are fine, but sand is a no-no.

Okay, I think that the water dish and the feeding dish (from what the picture shows) looks to large for a leo.. and the said should be changed with something soild... But either than that, It looks okay.

I've personally noticed that my leos like their smaller hides better than the bigger ones... I think small dark spaces make them feel comfortable.

I would remove the sand as well :)

i agree that you should use small hides. for example when i hold my leos like i am now they love my small dark sweatshirt pouches meant for your hands

if you have juveniles i'd use a lid for water ... for adults i use a decently shallow dish ... food, i don't put my food in a dish, they always crawl out, i jus put the food infront of my leos (i only feed them meal worms and super worms )
