Gregg, he got his introduction to dubia last night, and downed a couple little nymphs. He was very happy! Little guy was COMPLETELY flattened with arms straight out on his 95* hot spot last I checked
Ken, you and I think too alike. If he's a boy, I'm really going to call him that! If it's a girl, something like Ssssssally :main_laugh:
Ken, I'm assuming so! It is VERY young though, so I can only imagine what changes sheds will bring. I snapped a couple more quick pictures when I just checked on him this morning. Poor thing had a BM last night, and it is orange...when I picked him up he was on BRIGHT orange sand, she said the same thing he was on at the chain store
It's funny because my digital camera dulls down the colors more than my camera phone...?
Lol it was either that caption or this:
"My preciousss"
Heck, I might call him Gollum! (You will not understand this unless you've seen Lord of the Rings)
Heather, you're such a gecko lover. I bet "Snake/Ssssally/Gollum" will be, or already is, very happy he/she is with you.
I like his pattern too. It'll be interesting to see what the pattern will look like in the end.
Hayden, I am straight addicted. Honestly, if I had the funds, I would rescue and rehome every single one I came across. They just give me so much joy when I care for them, getting them back on their feet. It's very satisfying.
Oh the chain store geckos, sadly, are going to stay there. I refuse to purchase from them ever again. I'm talking about all the geckos on craigslist because the kids "got tired of them", and he ones from unfortunate situations that desperately need TLC.
Congrats on the new baby rescue... I hope this baby turns into a big fatty for you. I can already see the potential! What a great little personality too.
You are such a wonderful person for taking in rescues... This poor little one sounded like he/she was definitely in a rough spot.
