This darling hatch today. She is from a group with 3 females and a MS bell albino male. The females are:
1. Bolds tripe het bell
2. RE enigma bell albino
3. MS jungel

This young female are very white, got nice circle spots and a bold white neck pattern. And yes...an enigma spot on the nose.

Who is the mum??

Beats the heck out of me. Looks like it has an Enigma pattern, but otherwise looks more like a Mack.(?)

Sorry, I know that does not help much. LOL

The only way it can be an enigma (or MS enigma) are if female No 2, RE bell enigma, is the mother. But with this male (MS bell) it must be 100% bell offsprings. And this is not a bell... :main_huh:

It sounds great...but...no, it can't be that good.
The father is a MS bell (no enigma)! To bred him with female no3 MS jungle would bring me MS het bell or SS het bell. I can get enigmas from that pairing.
The only enigma in this group is a RE bell enigma, if she is the mother this baby would be a bell, and it's not!

Here is the group.

The male. Mack snow Bell albino:

And the females:

1. Bold stripe het bell

2. RE bell enigma

3. Mack snow jungle

so the parings can be:

MS bell x Bold stripe het bell

MS bell x RE bell enigma

MS bell x MS jungle

I can't see any possibility to get a non albino enigma from any of those combinations. Do you?? So, it can't be an enigma, right :main_huh: ??

Here are some offsprings from this parings.

1.MS bell x BS het bell

2.MS bell x RE bell enigma

3. MS bell x MS Jungle

From this pairing I just got two prematures, and I'm not sure of the mother to them.... they are both very brownish but it don't look like albino eyes, so maybe thats just because they are so young and tiny.

When I'm looking at all this pics, I will say No1 is the mother. The pattern of the offsprings remind a little of the pattern of the baby I'm asking about.
But my paper told me it's No3.... No1 had her eggs 5 of April and the babies are above. No.2 had laid her eggs 1 of April and above you can see her babies too.

I'm still waiting for the sibling to hatch. I hope that little one will bring me som light in this question!

Well , I was a bit tired when replying, but that is indeed a ms enigma.

and chance that egg came from a different cross or she was retaining sperm from a mack non albino still?

*lol* Ok, I give up! If you are so sure I have to keep her and see if your right. But I have no idea how a non albino MS enigma can hatch from that group!

The no3 female (MS jungle) has met a male before, but no enigma. That was a MS jungle male last year. The other two (RE bell enigma and BS het bell) are from Kelli and the MS Bell is the only male they have ever met.

I think your enigma is the mother, because ever other female has had hatchings that are indeed from the crosses stated. retaining isn't an option, so that has to be it.

Enigmas sure are named correctly huh ;)

Well if Kelli says she thinks it isn't....

watch those tail bands as it gets a few shed and you'll know for sure if they don't fade it's mostlikely notb an enigma from my experience.

Yes, I go with kelli too.
Today was the sibling hatched and it looks brownish white like the last two babies from MS bell x MS Jungle I showed in this thread . I wounder why they are so brown...:main_rolleyes:
I know that Alex Hue (I bought th MS jungle female from him) sold tremper hets to customers and he don't tell if it's only possible hets, but I don't think he had bell albino 2006...
But how ever, the sibling didn't solve the mystierium about my black n white chubby darling :p .

I let her stay anyway ;)

I do not think it can be an Enigma, as was mentioned earlier in the thread. It would have to be a Bell Albino, from Mack Bell X Bell Enigma. It does have an Enigma-ish pattern though, kind of weird.
