I know for sure that my geckos are not fighting, but i found these marks on the side of my SHTCT who is housed with my tang. Could these marks have been caused by them climbing on eachother?

Thanks!

It looks like the marks on my females when the males have been at them, so if you have 2 females, one is probably nipping at the other.

They have never shown aggression towards eachother, not even when they were put together :main_huh:. Do you think it is just playful nipping?

geckos are not really like dogs or cats and dont play with each other.

i cant tell from the pics, but if it looks like dry skin, that might be what it is, and you might try raising the humidity.

but everyone else (including you) says they look like nip marks, so that is probably what it is. maybe add another hide or two.

p.s. your avatar is adorable

p.p.s. howdy from tempe! were basically neighbors! :D

They have a moist hide for each and a single big house that can hold like 4 geckos. they also have a papertowel roll in there too, so there isnt much more room for anything with the long, shallow water dish. This confuses me because they get along great, even sleeping on eachother. As for the dry skin idea, ill make sure the moist hides are more "moist"(lol) and i will keep my eye out for fighting.

I don't think those are bite marks from the other gecko. I think it may be from them climbing on each other because a bite or even a nibble mark would show more then what is on her.
