Not a hatching but her's my mack pastel boy he's well grown on in these picture.I will post some later of him now and his new mack pastel girl.Could i if you don't mind see a picture of your mack pastel ? pleaseeeeeeee .I wouldn't mine seeing what hatching look like also compared to average normal/hi yellows.

She is almost 8 months now and is comparable to Mr. Moon her Mack Snow clutchmate, but not as yellow.

Gazz, your's is a perfect example of a Mack Pastel! The light head and white on the body...

The baby on the left in this picture is possibly a Mack Pastel hatchling. It looks a lot like a Mack Snow except it had a VERY slight yellow coloration to it.

I sent pictures of it to Alex Hue and he said that it might be a Mack Pastel, only way to tell for sure is to breed it and prove it out.

Nice leo very bright mine also very bright but the flash took it away.Just a quick question are all NON mack snow siblings mack pastels ? or are they something that pops up now and then ?.

A Mack Pastel and a Mack SNOW Pastel are different. The Mack Pastel is a Dominant Pastel thet showed up when breeding the Mack Snows.

The Mack Snow Pastel is a Combo of that Pastel and the Mack Snow.

I'm not 100% but i'd say that's a mack snow pastel NOT mack pastel as fare as i aware mack pastels are born bright glowing yellow and black ?.Best way to find out for sure is breed it to a leo you know is 100% mack snow or just breed strate to a mack super snow if it's a mack pastel you WILL NOT get any mack super snow offsping.If it a mack snow pastel you will get mack super snow offsping.

That is the difference, right there. Look at the first band, where it is much lighter next to the neck. That is just about the only characteristic, that is different than a normal on a hatchling MP. That and they tend to have those stripes on the back legs, like their Mack SNOW siblings do. Other than that alot of the time they display the "circle back" aberrant-pattern, or the same type of aberrant-patterns that the Snows also have.

I am not 100% sure it's a Pastel, I will be proving her out very soon, she is in with a Male Mack Snow now. So, if I get Mack Snows and Pastels from her, then I know she is a Mack Snow Pastel

Sorry no i wasn't asking that like how do mack pastel pop up from a mack snow breeding ? for example;
is it;
mack snow X basic normal = 50%mack snows / 50%normals.
or;
mack snow X basic normal = 50%mack snows / 50%mack pastels.
or;
mack snow x basic normal = 50%mack snow / 50%normal BUT mack pastel snows it face every now and then.

or do they come out of a mack snow to mack snow breeding ? like;
mack snow X mack snow = 25%mack super snow / 50%mack snow / 25% normal but mack pastel show up some times.
or;
mack snow X mack snow = 25%mack super snow / 50%mack snow / 25%mack pastel.

No. Not all Mack Snow sibs are Mack Pastels. I hatched two regular high yellows along with 1.1 Mack Pastels from Mack Snow Pastel het Bell x Blizzard. I kept the Mack Pastels and they'll be paired up this week.

I'm sure I also have Mack Pastel Bells, but there's so much going on with them that they confuse me.

Nop! if you get mack snow and mack pastel she is MACK PASTEL and if she a mack pastel you don't menchion SNOW in the name.You may even get one/two of them mack calico things but not to sure how that works just that it clashish both pastel and snow together somthing like that anyway.

If you get mack pastel,mack super snow,mack,mack snow,normal,mack snow pastel,and on on on she a MACK SNOW PASTEL.

I'm sure that the way it work onless the pastel gene is way stronger than the snow gene ????.

Thanks that the part i wanted to be sure about as i wasn't to sure and didn't want to miss name non mack snow normal offsping as mack pastels so now i know not to THANKS:main_thumbsup: .

420, if thats and albino pastel....well, i donno what i like better. ofcoruse bell is my fave albino...but bell pastel, or a pastel snow...oh man i just dont know what one is cooler.
