yeah but its about being resposable. i just got into with my gf the other day about cursing around my little sister (12) and even my sister was like Nevin i've heard worse! and all i could say, was yeah but not around me, and it wont be around me. so i understand what the mods are saying. im a construction worker... iv prob got one of the filthiest mouths of anyone on this forum.. but somehow i controle it. and i think its very standupish of Jay to appologize.

GeckoForums.net is a place where members of ALL ages can hang out. In the remote chance that a parent might actually take the time to pay attention to what their kids are doing should see this, they may not approve of it. This is also the reason why we do not allow the use of certain language here on the forums. All it would take is one parent to pitch a fit and sue GeckoForums... and we would be history. We just don't have the money or legal representation to defend us!

My grandchildren are 14 and 16, and although I know they use and hear profanity and certain words in their social life, they are still not allowed to use this kind of language at home or when they are here at our house. We as adults do not use that kind of language around our kids, either.

I personally do not have a problem with your screen name, but I do not feel it is appropriate for GeckoForums.net. I'ts more about having respect for others, even if there are only a few here that might find it offensive.

I am not offended by it but ....we do have alot of younger people ( 12-13-14 yr olds ) on here and as a parent I can understand why it could be a problem. My 14 year old sometimes gets on here and reads posts under my name and I appreciate that the site is kept "G" rated for that reason.
