Hey guys,

My brother and I are definatly getting a fat tail (yay) but before i make a purchase we would like to know, how active are fattys during the day?

The reason I ask is because several sources said that they are nocturnal, we are not sure wether or not that means in the wild or captivity!!

nocturnal animals are sometimes active during the day and can adjust to day time feeding. feeding in the evening would be more natural though. don't expect your gecko to be terribly active either way.

feed it once a day if its a baby, if its an adult feed it every other day, or twice a week. basically you want to feed it as much as it will eat. every gecko is a little bit diferant.

spooki is right thought, fatties are basically not active at all. they are the laziest critters you will ever see.

yes, you can feed and handle them during the day, no problem.

Thanks guys!!

We were going to look for something a bit more active but fattys are in our budget!!!

No big deal cause we can still handle them in day time!
