We have 2 Leo's one is Dexter he is 49G. now and Morgan is 44G. We got them just 2 days apart from Petsmart. They have doubled in size in 2 months. Morgan has a much smaller head and more dainty, we put him (not sure now if F or M) in a big clear glass bowl and looked at under side with a flashlight and we saw no sign of being male? so now were wondering? About how old or big do they have to be to tell if they are M or F? Also Dexter keeps more to himself and Morgan loves to come out constantly and we let him. He loves to cruse around the house on my hand and crawl on the bed and couch and all over my husband, (He's or she?) is so much fun because of the socialization and wanting to just hang out with us. My question now is, are females more social with the owners than males are? Anxiously wanting your thoughts. :main_yes:

No. I wouldn't say its as simple as Male vs Female. There is a heap of factors which also may contribute to a geckos tolerance for handling. Some of my tamest animals are Males. They all have their own personality

I agree that there are many factors in the tameness of leopard geckos. I have more males that are calmer and love to be handled as well.
