I'm thinking about getting a RAPTOR male to go with my two Hypo het RAPTOR females. This is what I got from the pairing. Please let me now if I'm wrong.

25 percent Normal het RAPTOR
25 percent Tremper het Eclipse
25 percent Eclipse het Tremper
25 percent RAPTOR

Is that right or am I off?

It´s not that easy. Your % are right if you ignore the Pattern. The Eclipse will have pattystripe Jungle stripe or so and same for the Raptor. It will be RERS or Jungle Eclipse Albino or the Raptor.

The pattern gen needs to be considered if you want pure patternless Raptors

I wish this genetics mumbo jumbo was a lot easier to understand. I'm thinking of going to get a genetics for dumbies book today after work.....So one more question ( was thinking about making this it's own thread so don't be surprised if you see this as a thread later if I don't get answers) I kow that the eclipse and tremper genes make up the RAPTOR but what makes up the eclipse? And is there a site that someone can give me to show the make up of all the morphs?

An Eclipse is a non-Albino RAPTOR but people also use the term Eclipse to refer to the solid eye trait only.

but there isn't a certain set of parents/genetics needed to get the eclipse?

To get the eclipse gene, both parents have to atleast be het for it.

I knew that, but I was just wondering (ie) the eclipse and tremper genes make up a raptor, and the blank and blank genes make up an eclipse. Or is it just and eclipse and an eclipse make another eclipse?

Breed a striped or reverse striped tremper to a redstripe--with any luck, you'll get Raptors in the second generation. It is my opinion/experience that the eye trait emerges from inverting the pattern...

Well, I'll probably just get a RAPTOR and breed him to my two female hypos het RAPTOR. I've seen a few them have some real nice color.
