Are Superworms Okay?

I am thinking about trying superworms in Yoshi's diet for variety. The trouble is that the worms can be up to 2 inches long. My leo is just over 7 inches long right now, and I am pretty sure she is 5-6 months old. I'm not sure how much bigger she'll get. Will she have trouble eating these? Does anyone else regularly use superworms for their geckos?

I am feeding superworms to geckos as small as 10 grams. I don't know where they're putting them, but they eat them and gain weight nicely.

well I order the medium sized ones for my babies. Although now my Henry is 7 mos old and is a hunk so I guess he could eat the big ones. I'm not sure if my little girls could eat huge ones so I'll stick with mediums for a while.

my adults love supers. easy to keep and the supers eat anything i put in their holding tank. i throw lots of veggies in there and they disappear quickly. i have an order of 500 supers which should hold me for a while. my sub adults i think are too young for supers, they are like 5-6 months old, just feed them crickets and mealies with the occasional wax worm

I dunno why but mine dont seem to like supers :(

The most Yoshi has done was lick one and Daisy has only eaten a few.

Apart from the babies and Peppa who is a pig and will eat anything Yoshi and Daisy are getting a little picky especially Daisy.

I feed them every other day now and most of the time Yoshi will only eat 1 fairly large nymph roach in a feeding. He totally ignores mealworms now.

Daisy doesnt seem to care for mealworms now either, most of the time ignores supers and is a little hit and miss with roaches. If she jumps for a roach but misses she will lose interest and then not eat for that day.

She is also really clingy. She was tame from the day we got her and has always liked to be picked up and is quite happy to just sit on my hand or on my knee on the couch. But although ive tried handling her for a bit before feeding time so shes not as fussy she still tries her best to climb on me. Its cute but sometimes i wish she would just ignore me and eat :main_rolleyes:

Hmmm. I guess Yoshi doesn't like superworms after all. I took her humidity hide out to check the moss and was surprised by what I found. All the supers that I had offered over the last couple days were piled behind the hide. They were still alive, but fortunately none of them had nibbled on Yoshi. Maybe supers are too big for her.
