Are the eyes of a Sunglow/ Hybino like a Albino?

I know that a sunglow and Hybino are the same except the type of Albino used and who produced them but what I am concerned about is the eye color, is it like the albinos eye? Also if one of the parents are a sunglow or hybino, do we say they are het for it or het for the albino? If so what should I breed them to, other than each other( I have a male and female)? I am new to this Morph and need to learn more before the breeding season( although the ones I have are still too young for breeding. But you never know what I might find! LOL! If you have pictures I'd love to see them to help learn. Here is three pictures of my Bell Hybino female I got from Pat (Snare99) and my male SH and female SHT Hybino hets from My buds Rob(Gixxer3420). Also next post is one in question, Thanks Deb

Explain how a SHTCT is different than a Hybino/ Sunglow so I understand?

OK so this is a gecko I kinda rescued/bought from a guy who claimed he got her from Garrick. Now this guy is a common show vendor and I know he is not a bad guy. But he said Garrick told him all the geckos he got from him were Sunglows. So from the pictures how can someone tell if its one or not? If the eyes have to be albino eyes then I can easily tell but what about the body? I am trying to learn and I do not claim she is a Sunglow but I was told she is by this vendor, I got her because she has nice color(it is very orange but doesn't show as well in the picture) and a good start at a CT for just a couple of months old and the price was cheap even for a SHTCTB. Hi Deb. That gecko is not a sunglow. The eyes of a Tremper sunglow have a red look to them. I don't have any good eye shots or I would post them.

The spots on the tail also look black-
if they are, then it's not albino. The spots would be brown like your bellhybino.
She is a nice super-hypo either way.

I got albino eyes. Not sunglow though, but tremper albino:

Dark pigment albino, even called chocolate:

Line breed albino; A&M's Hyglo:

Normal pigmented SHTCB, not albino!

Normal pigmented Red stripe. not albino!

And my SH ghost het. sunglow. Not albino!

I don't know if you got any answer...sunglow is a blady super hypo carrottail in Tremper albino form... It has to get albinospots on the tali (if it get any spots at all).

I tried to crop a picture of my Sunglow so I could show you her eye, but it was WAY too blurry.

The Gecko above isn't a Sunglow, it is a SHTCT. If you breed a Hybino or Sunglow to a SHTCT, the non-albino offspring would be called "SHTCT Het for Albino"

It is poss that your little one is het albino and there was some sort of misunderstand about that.

Thanks everyone, Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. I pretty much knew about the eyes but I wasn't sure about the body spots. Now I will be able to tell right away. The one I got from Pat(snared99) has albino eyes but the others do not but they were bred to one except I do not know about the one in question. whether it may be het. Actually I think he was just calling them a sunglow because of t he orange color compared to the others( some were extremely bright orange) he had with him. Because he was next to me so I saw the others, it wasn't until it was time to go that I decided to get her because she was all by herself and he was traveling back to Wisconsin. I am fine with what she is but I just wanted to be sure. I wouldn't ever pay more than what I paid so she is still worth it for a SHTCTB. Thanks again!!!Deb
