Yeah the snow gene is pretty cool and fairly unique. Tangeries and the like are pretty nifty as well but snows are just something else.
I'm really hoping to be able to nab a nice looking well tempered total eclipse lady for my striking young gentleman Persian in the future.

As for the temperature effecting the appearance, perhaps. Maybe in the future I'll try cooking them for male instead of female/mixed and see if the warmer temps would effect them.

I haven't noticed them being lighter incubated at a higher temp. The mack eclipses I hatched were all dark and my regular eclipse just look different than they do.

Do you trust that your source can track the genetics line where they may not be some "hidden" gene in there? You have some kind of faded, patternless (but not since there would be spots at this age), reverse stripe, idk what in there. Kind of want to see them when they are bigger!

Parents came from top breeders, so yes, I trust them. I will post picture as to they grow. Here are the parents: Total eclipse and Mack Snow Raptor.

The patternless stripe part of the eclipse gene changes things a lot. It's not uncommon to see mack eclipse that look like that.

I am unable to load the picture on my iPad. I will have to wait til I get to the computer to see it. Did you incubate for female? I was just wondering if the low temps can affect the coloring.

I did incubate for female, but in general I have not seen consistently dark geckos at lower temps.

I already posted these pictures on another thread, but I wanted to keep the updates here. So here they are at two weeks.
